Ondo State Decides Today!

The long awaited Ondo State election is here. In the polls which will decide the governor of the state for another 4 years starting from February 2013, three major contestants are to log heads with one another.

Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN - Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN)
Labour Party, LP - Olusegun Mimiko (incumbent)
People's Democratic Party, PDP - Olusola Oke

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up to a large extent in the state as police and military troops, numbering several thousands have been posted to the state.

The Independent Electoral Commission has also promised a free and fair election. God bless Ondo State.
